I am currently reading  “Made to crave” by Lysa TerKeurst

Made to Crave is the missing link between a woman’s desire to be healthy and the spiritual empowerment necessary to make that happen. The reality is we were made to crave. Craving isn’t a bad thing. But we must realize God created us to crave more of him. Many of us have misplaced that craving by overindulging in physical pleasures instead of lasting spiritual satisfaction. If you are struggling with unhealthy eating habits, you can break the ‘I’ll start again Monday’ cycle, and start feeling good about yourself today. Learn to stop beating yourself up over the numbers on the scale. Discover that your weight loss struggle isn’t a curse but rather a blessing in the making, and replace justifications that lead to diet failure with empowering go-to scripts that lead to victory. You can reach your healthy weight goal — and grow closer to God in the process. This is not a how-to book. This is not the latest and greatest dieting plan. This book is the necessary companion for you to use alongside whatever healthy lifestyle plan you choose. This is a book and Bible study to help you find the ‘want to’ in making healthy lifestyle choices.

  1. I am reading this book after a long time away from the circle series. it is all coming back pretty quickly though. I have heard some say they really liked this book and others were disappointed with it. I have yet to draw my own conclusions. If anyone else is reading it or has read it and wants to leave feedback feel free. I would love to hear what you all have to say.

  2. Valerias Cross is very good and full of twists and turns that you just are not expecting. I do like it when an author keeps me guessing.

  3. finished the book “Valeria’s Cross” very good book, twists and turns and the ending was not what I expected! I recommend this book, very good read.

  4. Jody Hedlund is a new author that is proving to be quite talented. This book drew me in from the beginning and has been a good read so far. She weaves a story rich in history, drama, humor, and romance. I look forward to getting to read more from this author.

    • very good book, I would recommend this book to anyone. I was surprised at the end to find that the book was based on the life of the author of Pilgrims Progress, only focused on the woman that was his wife. Good read!

  5. The Girl in the Gatehouse, is written in the style of Victoria Holt’s books. I read all her books when I was a teenager and young adult. I am looking forward to reading this type of book again.

  6. I want to borrow the last few you’ve listed here, including this current one when you’re done, if you don’t mind. I put them on my Amazon shopping list, but let’s be real… The last thing I need to be doing is making shopping lists. I’m dirt poor. I may not be buying any new books for quite a while.

    • you got it I will bring them to you when we have lunch! No need to buy them if you can borrow them that is for sure and for certain!

  7. Okay Burn was rather interesting and takes you down a road that you are not expecting, big suprise right? Not with Ted Dekker! that man is a genius when it comes to twists and turns in a story line! I wont ruin the book for you if you haven’t read it, but, as usual Ted does not disappoint!
